I needed something to make my iPhone (in a case) easier to not drop, but not something that added depth to the case. (The old solution I was using—basically a pop socket—got in the way when I clipped the phone into my tripod.) I didn’t want to spend a lot of money, because C’MON it’s about 12” of nylon cording. This lanyard did the trick. HOWEVER: it attaches to the phone case, not the phone itself, at the bottom where the charger goes in. The charger still fits just fine, but I didn’t really understand this before I actually attached it. I’d recommend this if you’re looking for a simple, low-cost solution to secure your phone. It seems well made and I’ve been using it constantly for a few weeks with no signs of wear. The lanyard is easily adjustable to fit more or less snugly around your wrist, regardless of wrist circumference. TIP: BUY BRIGHT COLORS, because half the time I find my misplaced phone by looking for the bright lanyard.

I’ve been using this for a few months as a phone strap and it’s still showing no signs of wear at all. The strap feels like it’s really high quality - it’s flexible and soft but sturdy enough to hold its shape. It’s a long enough strap that it’s easy to catch when I accidentally knock my phone over, and it’s easy to size to my small wrist when I carry my phone around. I just wish these came in a smaller pack - I don’t need six of these, especially since it seems like these will last a while, but the price is great for the quality.

Let me tell you, I bought this a year ago. I had to search for this purchase just to write a review. I’ve been using the same string for one year. It’s still here. The amount of times I have swing my phone like a wrecking ball holding on to one of this is astronomical. Definitely shouldn’t do that but I do it out of habit. Hasn’t ripped. I have caught my phone from falling so many times by catching onto these. This is heavy duty stuff. I bet they don’t make a lot of money because it’s only been a year and I’m still using only one. 10/10
