There are countless Faraday cage products for cards, keys & electronics. Me, I wanted a nicely designed & well built (no scratches on my key) pouch, for both of my electronic car keys. One that had specific sizes, so I could select a set that a key could slide in & out, but roomy enough for the thickness of an electronic key. Without being too large. This manufacturer has different sizes & gives you the dimensions so one can make an informed selection. In addition, the pouches are well designed, not obtrusive in size or weight, and are well stitched. They have attached small exterior metal clips, should you wish to hang it. And the clips have a nice finish to them, nothing about these are cheaply made. The interior lining extends to the entire interior & flap.
I took one key (in pouch) & put it at the door handle, no response from the vehicle whatsoever. I took the second key which has a nice sturdy "flat" & finish chain attached. This has a loop clip on the other end (for clipping to a belt loop & slide into a front pocket), my point, not a cheap thin chain. I tucked the key in the other pouch, WITH the chain leading OUTSIDE said pouch. And folded the flap over, leaving a slight gap compared to key #1, but the flap extends well enough to completely mitigate all signal. Held next to car handle,.. nothing. Still zero signal leak.
So no one is going to use a repeater or clone the signal when in pouch. If you're reading this, you understand the key is always transmitting, not just when you hit a button.
This is an excellent product, I would highly recommend it. I'm not recommending "similar products," just this one. Very high quality, at a very, very reasonable price. And, if you just gleaned the description, you may not be aware you do get two (a pair). If you've a push start auto w automatically unlocking doors, this is worth the piece of mind.

I love this faraday case. It is small, yet fits my keys and about 6 credit cards. It could fit more but I travel with those 6 cards and it brings me peace of mind to know that at the airport or high traffic area, I don't have to worry about someone stealing my identity/card numbers. It may seem a little paranoid, but even if you're not concerned, its a fantastic little pouch to keep stuff in if you don't want to bring it in your purse. It doesn't fit my phone but I bring it to theme parks and it fits in my pocket and keeps everything I need close to me. It also has a little chain you can hook to you or inside your purse.

The reviews helped to make the decision to purchase. Glad I did. It was a little annoying at first taking it in AND out of the pouch so I had to figure out something comfortable for me and I did. I gave one to my husband. He' is hard to please but he like it.
he can hang his keys on the outside and keep the fobs on the inside. the hooks are very durable not cheap. Made well
Also he like having the option to hook on his waist. For me my purse. I will be ordering more for spare keys and for gifts. With all going on its worth it. I checked out a few others but this one is the best. A must buy!

I recently upgraded from an old turnkey vehicle to a keyless entry/ignition vehicle, and was concerned about how easy it might be for someone to steal it.
Well, this product has lessened those concerns. If I have the fob inside the pouch and the flap closed, I can be standing right next to my door and it doesn't pick up the fob's signal. I also tested it inside the vehicle, with the fob inside the pouch and flap closed. Again, the vehicle doesn't pick up the fob's signal and thus won't start.
So I give this product 5 stars for providing me with some additional peace of mind for not a lot of money.

Our neighbor's car was stolen not long ago. As seen on the neighbor's video surveillance system, the thieves walked up to their house in the middle of the night and held an antenna of unknown design up to their window. Apparently, they had a system that could read and clone the key fob's signal, allowing them to get into the neighbor's car and just start it up (the car has a keyless ignition system, requiring only the key fob to be in the vehicle in order to start it up and drive it).
My wife's car also has a keyless ignition system. We purchased these bags right after hearing about this theft and I have confirmed that you cannot start the vehicle if you are sitting in the vehicle with the key so long as the keyfob is inside of the bag. Proof positive that this bag works.
If you have a keyless ignition system, get these bags ASAP and always keep your keys (and the key fob) in the bag when not driving the car. The price is more than reasonable, and doing so will protect your vehicle from thieves using this technique to steal your car. I had never heard about this technique of stealing a vehicle before, but just a little bit of research online showed me that this is now rather common.

Laughing at the negative reviews..... I guess people don't understand how these work....... they're MEANT to keep your vehicle from sensing the key, stop complaining that you have to remove it from pouch to start the car, you must have just thought these were a decorative key fob pouch..... I am using these for when I park my vehicle at home, it will keep the signal from being sensed by the car, and allowing anyone who might come trying to see if maybe the key is in range. Also can be used to keep a spare hidden INSIDE the car just in case your main key falls victim to some sort of mishap. I had this laying on my center console, about 6 inches from the programming/dead battery slot, and the vehicle did NOT sense the key.
Works 100% as promised.

I love this key protector-my husband hates it. I love the connected keychain so I can use the key and not have to look for the cover afterwards. I love that there is a hook to hook it to my other keys. My husband hates having it attached and hates having to keep track of it while using the car key. Bottom line, it works perfectly. I love it but my guy hates it and won’t use it. Luckily HIS car key is the old-fashioned insert in lock and turn kind. I ordered the middle size BTW.
