The selection is important to me too. At this time, I'm adding an eBike motor, and there are a lot of wires to be "managed". These zip ties act like a zip tie is supposed to. Don't know about the durability yet, other than they don't break when I tighten them. This was the only assortment pack, so don't know how they would compare with other prices.

I recently purchased a pack of assorted zip ties, and while they have been useful for certain tasks, they have also proven to be somewhat unreliable.
On the positive side, the variety of sizes included in the pack has made them helpful for organizing cables and cords, bundling items together, and securing items in place. The zip ties are easy to use and generally hold items securely.
However, I have noticed that some of the zip ties break unexpectedly or the plastic stretches, causing them to lose their grip. Overall, I think these assorted zip ties are okay, but not great. They can be helpful for certain tasks, but I would not rely on them for heavy-duty or long-term use. While searching near and far for a few zip ties to use as luggage safety ties, I only needed just a few and came upon this item with several hundred zip ties in four sizes and at the right price. Upon arrival, I ran a test on my luggage and it works just fine with the 8 inch length. Then I realized that the tool to cut these off was packed in the luggage oh my, what to do. A pair of handy nail clippers was easily able to cut through in order to open the luggage, haha. These are good ties!

zip ties not very thick. a little less heavy duty than i was hoping. i used them to hang a 6’x10’ tarp. the zip ties were adequate but will need to be replaced sooner than more heavy duty ties
