I was about to return this and buy a $300 monitor until I found this nifty little VOX feature. I’ve had this monitor for about 2 months and it does everything you need it to. I have 2 kids, so 2 cameras. This monitor can switch back and forth to the separate camera view’s automatically. The only negative issue I was having (that I recently figured out how to fix, yay) was the different sounds every 15 seconds when it would switch to the other camera. Both my kids have sound machines in their rooms, so switching camera views every 15 seconds while I’m trying to sleep was super disruptive. Well I just now found the nifty VOX feature where essentially the monitor “turns off” until it hears a noise above a certain threshold. Game changer. Now I don’t have to listen to the ever changing sound machine sounds when it switched over to the other camera. I’m so happy I found this feature but also frustrated I lived this long without knowing. So I hope this helps someone else too!! You don’t have to live through the annoying white noise sound all night! I honestly don’t know why anyone would ever buy a more expensive monitor, this one has all the bells and whistles.

I like the product in general. It does have a very close view you will need to put it a lot farther back in the room than expected. Also when attempting to screw the bottom on a mount the inside thread came out I have reached out to the company & will hopefully receive a replacement. I don’t like that there aren’t any external buttons to turn the volume down you have to go into the menu and turn it down, also if you play white noise or music from the device into the room you can’t turn it off at the monitor. So you have to listen to the same music. It’s okay for the price.

I purchased this monitor after our original (Motorola) monitor stopped working. We had constant issues with the Motorola and a horrible experience with their customer service department, who actually said we would have to PAY to speak with someone about the issues.
This has been a completely opposite experience. The monitor isn't fancy, but it does the job and gives us peace of mind when my daughter is sleeping. I use it every day during naps and every night (all night long on video + sound) and it still works great. The only issue I have had was with a loose part either in the monitor itself or the monitor's charging cord, but the customer service department was happy to help me get it fixed ASAP.
I highly recommend this product and company. No complaints! :)

I love that this is literally a plug-in and ready to use camera, shows the room temperature, allows volume control, and back lighting control, has lullabies to play, I can speak to my kids, great display. The only downside that I have is like others have said, it is zoomed so far in that I can’t see my whole room and both of my kids. It’s hard to find the correct placement to show them in their bed because I have a smaller room. I currently have it as far up towards the ceiling, in a corner of the room, and I still can only partially see them. Luckily, I can pan back-and-forth but it is quite inconvenient on that end. If it was a little more zoomed out, it would literally be perfect. We will continue to use it though.

UPDATE: I’ll leave my original review here for my initial experience, but I have changed from 2 stars to 5. I reached out directly to hello baby and the customer service was immaculate and they resolved my issue!!! The camera is not cross compatible so I needed a model that matched mine. They helped me extremely quickly considering I reached out on a holiday weekend and we got everything worked out. This is such a relief as other than the adding camera issue I have been completely satisfied with this product.

This is great if you will only ever need 1 camera. It is advertised as being able to buy and pair 3 additional cameras but this is false. I have purchased multiple cameras that claim to be compatible with this monitor and none of them will pair. Again amazing if you’ll only need the 1.

I had to Mount this camera damn near to the ceiling and it’s still too far zoomed into to see the entire crib like who the hell decided to put a 4x lens on this thing it’s nearly useless and they give you an option to zoom in further for what reason l? I will be returning this for sure.
Updated 06-29-2023 - Seller let me replace this monitor with the better redesigned handled and camera it is LEAGUES better the camer is at more normal zoom level its no where near as bad and its actually usable now I have been using for the last week to make sure everything was good. Picture quality is great, audio is great and functionality of the handheld is great I am satisfied.

I was a bit hesitant in purchasing this camera and monitor, but I did and I was pleasantly surprised. It's simple but does everything I need it to do. You do have to put the camera a little further away than other cameras because it's a more zoomed in than usual, but that just takes some figuring out. The night vision is great, and I LOVE that there is no LED light that turns on while my baby is sleeping AND it does not make noise when you rotate it, so it doesn't interrupt her sleep.
I will say that after 3 months of working perfectly, one day the camera just stopped working out of nowhere. I did everything I could to troubleshoot, but I could not get it to work. The company was great and will be sending me a replacement, but it sucks that we will be without a baby monitor until the replacement comes.
All in all it's a good product for a great price.
