5.0 out of 5 stars Game changer for potty training

Not sure why I didn’t buy earlier. My middle child was having difficulty with potty training. However, I noticed that, at school she had no problem with going to the bathroom. This was because the toilets were specially made for kids, her size and much smaller than a standard toilet. Prior to this, we just had some thing that we placed on the toilet seat and a small stool. however it did not give her the independence to go to the toilet by herself. As a result, we had several accidents. However, we got this in combination with a watch that reminded her to use the toilet. It took about a week for her to be accident free and then over the course of a month she only had a couple accidents. Now she is completely potty trained except for night time. Of note we keep this in our guest bathroom which she now thinks is exclusively hers.

4.0 out of 5 stars Features are just "okay", but it does the job.

This is a nice potty training seat if you want to save a few bucks. I had chosen one for my grandson that was nearly twice the price, and the features would have been much better in comparison to this one. My daughter chose this one, so we bought the same one, for the sake of consistency between her house and ours. This one is okay; it suits its purpose: handles on either side that a child can use to climb up or hang onto while seated; padded seat that removes for thorough cleaning, and a fairly sturdy step that they can use to climb up. Again, good features. I just would have preferred to spend more for these same features but better. Nothing wrong with this one.... perfectly serviceable.

I saw good and bad reviews but I went for it and it Truly helped my daughter potty train, I had been struggling since she was 1 and she’s 2 now and I didn’t understand why she wouldn’t go to the bathroom, I had tried everything all the fancy potty’s and the seats for the big toilet nothing worked, turns out all she needed was a seat for the big potty that she could use for herself. She has one at my house and my moms we love it she became so independent.

5.0 out of 5 stars My 2 year old loves it !!

We had a little potty for my son and it wasn't his favorite so I figured to buy this for him and I feel like he was more interested in using the toilet with this potty training seat! It's very sturdy and safe specially for a kid like mine that likes to climb very quick and on his own.

It is adjustable and it fits my tall toilet well! I recommend this right off the bat so then transition from small potty to big potty won't be an issue !!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for toilet learning!

My daughter began showing an interest in toilet learning very early at 18 months! We started with a small potty (that you have to empty into the toilet), but she wouldn't poo on it (not to mention, I didn't care for cleaning it!). I purchased this toilet and it was a game-changer! From day one, my daughter used it and she was toilet trained from then on! She had no trouble going pee or poo on it, and loved that this allowed her to use the real toilet. It's also wonderful in design in allowing children to be completely independent in toileting. Highly recommend!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Bought this and love it!!

My son just turned 2 and noticed some signs he might be ready to potty train. We has the tiny toilet gifted to us but my son gets off that and also thinks it's a toy plus it's too big to go in the bathroom thay by his room. Then I bought the toilet seat you see here from walmart. It was loose and once when he was getting up it slid and poop went everywhere. It was bad. After doing some research I found this one and it's night and day difference. He has no problem getting up and on it himself. You do need to make sure like all boys.. the guns are pointing down. But he has been doing great on it so far. Committed the past 2 days to training since I recieved this and I am hopefull in our success.

Note to buyers when putting together. The instructions only said if loose try adjusting the step. And that's true. When I was putting it together I thought I needed more height to get the back lip to sit in the seat. After testing it out I noticed it's best to set it low on the front so it sits in the seat better and it was more stable like that.

Happy pooping!

4.0 out of 5 stars Easy to assemble

Reviewed in the United States ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ on June 27, 2023

This stool and seat ALMOST gets 5 stars from me. It is easy to assemble, sturdy, love that it’s adjustable, and the seat itself seems to be very comfy for my little guy. However, the step stool part is very narrow. For a toddler using it as support and to help them feel balanced climbing up and down, it’s pretty pointless. My toddler is 2.5 and I just wish it was wider so that it actually helped. That’s all :)
